TimeStrike

One day an ordinary person woke up and found himself alone in this vast universe. Soon, he realized his wish to lose all his memories has come true. He has lost not only his memories but also his loved ones. So, now he is on a journey to find and rescue them from different timelines. 

Game play:

Find the friend: Find his friends by unfreezing them but don't shoot them twice, otherwise they die. 

Avoid the obstacles: Avoid the moving obstacles to finish a level within minimal time. 

Kill the enemies: If you unfreeze the enemies, make sure to kill them otherwise they will surround you and the game will be over. 

Themes:

This game was made for IGDC Game Jam 2024 hosted SCOPE Gaming Community and Red Apple Learning. The themes of the event were:

1. Time travel

2. Forget-Me-Not

3. Upside down

TimeStrike is based on two of the above themes- "Forget-Me-Not" and "Time Travel". For incorporating the first thene in the game, we thought of the story a protagonist who has primarily lost his memories and wants it back. We wanted to give our own twist to classic memory games by making him rescue his friends who are frozen in time. And for 'Time Travel', we have introduced the concept of fighting against time by moving from one timeline to another. Each time and era has different obstacles and villains that the protagonist has to beat.
